Safari Tent

Nelly slept through the wake up call on the ferry then once up had a very healthy breakfast, eschewing all the cooked buffet for bran flakes, a yogurt and an orange!
We made it to our campsite in really good time and got photopassed up.  Floss and Nelly went swimming whilst me and Betty chilled at the lake whilst we were waiting for our tent to be ready.  The life guard asked if Nelly had a swimming dilpoma dn told Floss "I am not happy.  She swims like a dog"!  But all this meant was she had to put on armbands to go down the water slide and in the big pool with the rapids.
It was scorchio, our tent was ready so we got into it and unpacked.  very posh, in fact 'glamping' with a fridge/freezer, electric fan, decking and posh beds.
We did a supermarket run, had a quick look at the kids entertainment before going back to the tent for tea and Uno.  We met the resident pet rabbit, had a phonecall from an old friend saying they were driving up to see us tomorrow and marvelled at the Dutch dish wash area that included WALL MOUNTED DRAINING RACKS.  An innovation that surely needs to spread across all campsites!
