Sunflower

Adams whole class planted sunflower seeds several weeks ago, he's just brought his seeds home, sprouted.

With luck they'll flourish and we?ll have lovely big sunflowers at the end of the summer, with a lot of luck ... What tends to happen in our household is that they get forgotten in pots, and then eventually wither away.

I gave Mrs PS a bay tree one year, and can you believe we even managed to kill that - they are almost indestructible! But apparently not if you leave them in the same pot for 3 years and don't plant them, and only water them twice per year.

Lets hope Adams green thumb is more green than yellow, or brown - the colour our plants usually turn ... ;-)
