Fallen

Water, water everywhere... torrential rain overnight and continuing all day today led to localised flooding in parts of Sussex. Bognor Regis was turned into a island as the major roads into the resort - the A29 and the A259 - were impassable. Roads through our village were heavy with surface water, but thankfully we were not directly affected.

Husband of Mine and I were on our way to the Priory Playhouse in Arundel in the evening to see a friend in a play when we came across this fallen tree partially blocking the A27. Thankfully it had been cleared by the time we made our return journey.
