Flower Friday: Coneflower Visitor
This morning I was on my way to my friend's house for a lesson in quilting and applique. I had an errand on the way so I was coming from a different direction than usual and I was a little confused. I decided to pull over and consult my GPS. I was well off the road but I still put my hazard flashers on to be safe. So, there I was working on the GPS when there was a knock on my window. It really startled me! It was a policeman checking to make sure I was okay since I had my flasher on. He felt so bad for scaring me. I explained my dilemma and he and his partner who had joined him told me exactly how to get where I was going. I thanked them and went on my way. Then they pulled up in the lane next to me and lowered their window, so I lowered mine and he said that I should follow them and they'd lead me to my destination - much better than my GPS! So, I got a police escort to my quilting lesson. They were so nice! I just had to share that. :-)
I was busy all day with visiting and sewing so, as I was leaving I mentioned that I didn't have a blip. We walked around her garden and I chose this coneflower because of its vivid color and little visitor. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting FlowerFriday!
