...after a slow start, it turned into a beautiful summer's day. The temperature was still only 15C but it felt much warmer in the afternoon sunshine.

Following yesterday's failure to scoop a good male Sika image, we went back to Arne for another attempt. As before, there were plenty of deer about on the grassland but none on the marshes where it is usually possible to creep very close. Nonetheless, I managed to get a half-decent shot of this mature male showing the youngster in the grass how useful a large pair of antlers is when it comes to enjoying a good scratch...
