Cats eyes

Got the boys back early this week and just in time for the playgroup Halloween Disco. So with Iesty dressed up as a black cat and Rhys as a pumpkin we wandered down to the church in time for the party.

It was good to see Rhys playing with his school friends as he's normally happier clinging to my leg for protection, but with Iesty there to back him up they commenced battle with the pirate, dracula and dark knight in a battle to the death (until parental intervention!). With some sugary sweets inside and painted faces we braved the cold dark night and headed home, Rhys on top of my shoulders and Iesty in a sleepy slouch in the pushchair.

Tomorrow we head off for our mini break before half term draws to a close. Better get packing!
