Rafters Landing

We drove to the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown today, to see a wonderful exhibition on "Van Gogh and Nature."  Returning we happened to stop at this rafting mecca  on the river by the road, and witnessed the arrival of an entire armada of blue rafts with their red-helmeted occupants--at least 50 crafts had been on the river, according to the staff (upstream is to the right).

Backblipped the next morning.  Here's the Van Gogh exhibition at the Clark.  Just excellent, with loans from just about everywhere, including of course Holland.
