The Beach

A bit of an adventure today. We decided to drive along the coast and look for a beach. We were on a high road above it but this one looked good. With a high boat to people ratio, it seemed inaccessible. We found a rough lay-by with a couple of cars parked and a track leading down - how hard could it be!?

Steeper and steeper until the point the path got vertical and a couple of rough ropes showed the way. Dressed in the best climbing sandals and swimming cossies, we made it - even No.1 Son who at eight conquered it. OK it's not the Eiger but the sense of achievement and the first leap into the cooling water made the skinned knees worth it.
