Right on cue

bright sunshine arrived in spade fulls to welcome 'the torch' to Bridge of Allan.

It was a wonderful morning when this very proud and beautiful young lady lifted the torch and carried it through the town. Her pride was there for all to see. I just loved the way she was looking up at the torch.


Locals, schoolchildren, and nursery classes turned out in force, many of the youngsters settling down on the grass for their morning break after the torch had passed. There was a real carnival atmosphere and everyone had a great time.

What a spectacle!
