Yorkshire catch-up

After two days and 634 miles of driving through some of Britain's best scenery, I arrived back home this afternoon to a warm welcome from the family.

I stayed on route last night with an old friend in Yorkshire, and we had a very jolly catch-up evening as we hadn't seen each other for a while. She is wonderfully hospitable and greeted me with a delicious home-cooked meal. She is also a passionate and very green-fingered gardener, and I always love seeing the changing seasons in her beautiful garden. This is just a tiny corner of its lush profusion of summer growth.
