Wet and crumpled

We drove back to the Belgian home late last night, which was probably just as well as there was a terrible storm in The Netherlands today. The boys stayed there and apparently things weren't as bad in Noord-Brabant as they were in the coast areas, but there was a period of time when the authorities told the whole country to stay in and not drive (and trams and trains and planes didn't go either).

Over here in Belgium we had rain and some  gusts of wind, but nothing as bad as what I've seen on the news from Holland. The weather warnings had already been issued last night, so the first thing I did when we got back yesterday was moving the plant pots closer to the house, water them a bit  just in case they were close to being dehydrated and that's when I saw the poppies had already been out and some even withered !
