Evening quiet...

...at the quayside, North Shields. 
Tynemouth Sue and I met up with our former English teacher for coffee at the Grand Hotel this morning, and we chattered away for almost three hours! He was inspirational, if rather un-PC, and it was lovely to see that his wicked sense of humour hadn't changed...
This afternoon we took my old aunt out for an expedition to M&S - always rather traumatic - but we left her tired but happy ( we were tired, she was happy! ).
Had a little wander along the river then to get a spot of fresh air, and caught a shot of the buoys in the last of the sun.
