June roses
Well, you have to blip roses in June, don't you? I wanted a quite soft green shot and the sun today was just perfect, not too brutal. These grow in my garden and were here when I moved in - consequently, despite much research, I can't tell you what they are. I had planned to go to Mottisfont and get a rose pic - it does hold the national collection, after all, and is only just down the road - but this weekend doesn't sound like a rose-blip moment, not with the promised gales!
It's so lovely having my sister and her husband here from Texas. They're not staying with me but are in Winchester. We had lunch together today and will be meeting up again on Friday for an early evening drink. It feels like a real luxury, I don't see them that often.
And tonight I had a wonderful amble round Crab Wood in the early evening sunshine - perfect antidote to a very stressful work day!
Hope you're all okay x
