A LUCKY WINNER!

We walked the dogs before we went into town for an eye appointment for me. My prescription had not changed this time but a problem was detected on the scan I had, so I have been referred back to the doctor.

We went to the local airstrip in the afternoon. They were having a hog roast as a fund raiser for the Essex Air Ambulance. There was the usual raffle for conventional prizes but there was also a raffle for rides in one of the small aircraft. We weren't lucky, but we did enjoy the hog roast and had a delicious slice of coffee cake. Everyone had an enjoyable time watching the planes come into land and taking off. (There were several planes that came from different flying clubs.)
