Lonely Planet
Today is NZ Roast Day - long gone are the days when a Sunday Roast has been enjoyed. But today was that exception - we've just come home from enjoying with our good mates (4 couples) a fantastic combination of food supplied by us all. Two yummy roasts, Lamb and Beef (both home grown by our friends), a selection of roast vegies, leeks in creamy cheesy sauce, mashed potatoes and a delicious winter salad. Oh, before that a minestrone soup and followed by apple shortcake, yohurt and ice cream. And then a wee dish of fudge appeared as we enjoyed a cup of tea.
A fabulous time we have had.
One photo taken today and obviously this is it. Doug having a read (no he isn't sleeping) of the Ireland Lonely Planet - a lot of reading to be done, but then we've got a year to digest some of it.
Eyes are the pits, back to the doctor tomorrow.
