Had a superb walk up to Swarzsee above Zermatt today. The Matterhorn became increasingly visible throughout the day. By the time we were on our way back to Zermatt in the cable car for our blip meeting with Trevor and Ros, VisionsofCumbria and VisionsofChloe, respectively, this iconic mountain was completely clear. What a delightful evening we had, so many similar themes in our lives. We then witnessed the Hörnli Ridge, the Whymper Route of the Matterhorn, light up, as part of the 150 year anniversary celebrations (see extra photo if you like).This will happen every night for July and August of this year only.

By the time we returned to Tasche and our camping car, the campsite wireless was off so back blipping this!
