Netsuke

Back blip

It rained all day today making it quite tricky to get a blip.  In the end I went for a shot of the Japanese Netsuke I found in an antique shop in Leominster.

I have been collecting Netsuke for a while now.  Obviously this is a reproduction in resin rather than the real 19th century ivory carvings that can go for thousands of pounds!

Although I can only afford copies I still try to find ones that have been well carved (like most works of art they can vary drastically in quality!).
