Holiday in Ettal

Oh My God we really woke up at 3am to drive to Helsinki airport and catch the plane at 8.00am to Germany, Munich for a short family holiday.

Early bird sees a lot: we had a brilliant flight to Munich and found the rental car easily, then drove to Ettal. The scene in the blip is our view from the Gasthaus window towards the Ettal Kloster.

As we were early birds we did not get the Gasthaus rooms until later in the afternoon, so we jumped back to the car and drove to Linderhoff Castle. (More info about the castle here: http://www.bavaria.by/linderhof-palace-bavaria )

We also found a nice italian-bavarian style restaurant at the Ettal centrum, and now after good meal I guess that the Sandmann will come quickly and we fall asleep.

Lovely weather, +20c in shadows, partly sunny and clear. Back in Finland it has been raining today +15c I have been told - so sorry... :(
