Afternoon Tea

I'm spending Monday to Friday away from home at the moment, and trying to reconnect with home the weekends, spending time with Ann, Jasper and our friends, doing simple things. We had a nice walk around the outskirts of town this morning but the afternoon was rainy so not much we could do outdoors...

I had the excellent idea of going to the tea rooms in the next village for an hour. It's a combined post office and tea rooms and does a fantastic afternoon tea. One of its nice little touches is its eclectic collection of antique teapots and crockery, including this dainty little tea cup enjoying a second life as a miniature vase.
