Inset day

An inset day, today, caught a friend unawares so we took her son in(!)
I was a little concerned about the concept as dawn till dusk can feel like a very long time when acting as the adult in charge, especially if things were to go awry. 

My worries were pointless. We had a great day with J and very much enjoyed his company.

Footy in the garden, board games galore, hide and seek, dinner, the new 'Home' DVD, card games, dancing, Tea, TV, time to say goodbye.

They were dancing and killing themselves laughing when I picked up my camera. Sadly it would catch nothing but blur! I asked them to stop for a photo and they composed the above tableau. Would have preferred an action shot but this makes me smile too.
