A box of rain, wind and water
"Just a box of rain -
wind and water -
Believe it if you need it,
if you don't just pass it on
Sun and shower -
Wind and rain -
in and out the window
like a moth before a flame
It's just a box of rain
I don't know who put it there
Believe it if you need it
or leave it if you dare
But it's just a box of rain
or a ribbon for your hair
Such a long long time to be gone
and a short time to be there"
The Grateful Dead - Box of Rain
Not too sure about the application of the reference to sun and shower in this lyric to today, as its largely just been wind and rain. I did see the sun briefly for a couple of minutes but was too slow in getting outside to be able blip it ;-)
While still in hippy mode, the extra is a shot of an apparently transcendental lily - after all, the jewel is in the heart of the lotus. :-)
Instead its been a day spent indoors for Cathy and I. I cooked a lamb casserole for lunch and made an attempt at a gluten free apple and almond pudding. Unfortunately our oven seems considerably hotter than the temperature set by the recipe; the pudding was edible but I am going to have to have another go at it. I have annotated the recipe for next time.
Hope your Sunday has gone well.
