Showers ...

of hazel cobs were droppin from the tree this afternoon while out on my walk.  As I walked past there were nuts droppingn all around.  I was wondering if the rain was the cause but I stopped and looked up only to see a mishievous squirrel chomping on and then hurling the nuts to the ground!!  Were they not to his taste? To be honest I am not that surprised they look rather green and stomach achey to me!!  At least the rain drew breath for long enough for me to have a walk.. it is raining again now.. ho hum!!  Fine weather for ducks- as my father would say!
