A special friend's special day

My friend Anne had planned her special birthday so well and we had a great time catching up with her family and friends. The fact that we were meant to be out on the lovely balcony of the Woodbridge Cruising Club, overlooking the river Deben, and here we were in the clubhouse with the rain just pouring down, did not dampen our spirits one bit.
