An almost perfect day

We all got up late and had a relaxed breakfast on the paio, just helping ourselves to stuff when we fancied.

Then we all worked for a few hours on our own things in different parts of the house: Helen on the patio, myself at my desk and BB in the upstairs front room. The house really works at times like this with all the doors and windows open, very quiet and it's difficult to believe we live so close to the centre but it's very quiet and we get birdsong!

Up to Sarrio to Casa Joanna for a menu del did with us all having spinach with cream and BB's short story of the same name on the wall got the first time!

A very quick turnaround at home before heading to La Pedrera for a jazz concert on the roof terrace. Tickets booked in advance and what a lovely night! Here's Helen on the terrace there.

For our personal records : my brother was hospitalized on Thursday and so we've been dealing with that this week and today. This was a bit of a cloud, especially as he's been coping so well these last few months.
