Meadowsweet
With Katkatkat being with us there is a lot going on and blip slips from my mind. As a result today's blip is an emergency blip.
Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) is a very common plant in the damper roadside verges around here. AI have never tried it and am unlikely to I understand the whole plant is edible. The leaves have an aroma similar to the flowers, as a result when it was common to have floors strewn with vegetation Meadowsweet was a popular "strewing herb" it has also been used to flavour wines, Beers and vinegars
