Nature's very own squatters

Not the best quality photo as only has my little camera with me this evening as I took a stroll through the little country park that lies a stone's throw from home.

I don't visit there regularly enough (one added advantage of blip is that I'm getting out for a few more walks - long may it continue).

The nest has been used by swans in the past and I could see the mallard and her chick had pinched it. Only on viewing on a larger did I spot what looks to be a terrapin!
