Flaming June.....

Much excitement in Bruntsfield today, when the Olympic flame passed by on its way to the castle.

Even a major cynic like me enjoyed the party atmoshere. The flags and bunting were out, and for the second time in a fortnight, people were chatting to complete strangers! This is Edinburgh Jim, but not as we know it......

Naturally, we had to have some fizz (any excuse) and then went indoors for that most traditional of British dishes.......sushi!
