A quiet day

We went for a quiet gentle walk along the estuary today, mainly because my feet needed to recover from yesterday's exertions.  The river is very full as we have had a lot of rainfall over the past few days.  We saw many butterflies, lots of himalayan balsam unfortunately and areas where trees have fallen into the river.  This flower was blossoming and gently swaying in the wind as we completed our stroll.
