Energy needed

Well after a very hectic first day back at work yesterday! I got up feeling knackered! My ankle wasn't as sore as I expected it to be but I hit the snooze button about 8 times this morning before pealing myself out of bed!

Today was awards day at college in the department I have been on placement and it was a beautiful celebration of the learners journeys over the last academic year! Some learners shared their journeys which got quite emotional when you see how far some of them have come! This was rudely interrupted by a fire alarm going off thanks to some plumbers doing some work and setting them off! 3 flights of stairs on crutches was a challenge!! Once the fire situation was solved it was back inside to finish the celebrations!

Beautiful day had by all and lots of awards given to well deserving students! Time now for me to get some energy from some well earnt chocolate and cider!!!
