Best Laid Plans

It's been a bit of a day.

We bid farewell to G&S at the B&B. They are moving at the end of August and no longer doing B&B. In the 18 years we have been travelling down following J's Mum's migration from Yorkshire to the south coast (about 120 trips or thereabouts), this has been the best place we've stayed at and our hosts have become friends.

The rest of the day has involved shopping, washing machines, admin, doctors and pharmacists. When I got to the chemists they hadn't received the order phoned through by the doctor. I was told to come back in 15 minutes. So I returned to the car park, drove 200 yards to Cliff Top, and took some teasal photos - thus the blip, which is wholly unrepresentative of the day.

Returning I was told to come back in an hour. And we also had to make sure J's Mum knew what she was doing once we had it. And find things which had gone missing..So a last minute decision - we are booked somewhere else overnight and will return first thing in the morning.
