Our Baobab
We got this plant in 2011, from a friend who collected the seeds in East Africa in the early 1990's. In nature it can grow very tall and get very old (the oldest one known was over 1200 years...), so this one is still a baby. When older, the leaves are digitate (with "fingers") not simple like on our young tree. It may look pretty dull to most of you, but to us this plant means a lot.
