Giant Hogweed.

Altho this plant has a very bad reputation for causing serious blisters etc if you come in contact with it....I still find it astonishingly beautiful.   They are huge over here....apparently Alexander Graham Bell, the famous Baddecker....was responsible for bringing this 'weed' over from Scotland!   not sure if this is true or not...i have no memory of ever seeing this plant when i still lived in Edinburgh!

another rainy day, but i'm having a day off!   had lunch in town at the Bean There, did some chores, took these photographs and now home and time for a wee nap with my book!
