random harvest

For her last act as domestic goddess for the present, Anniemay braves the weather to run down the garden and pick a few blueberries for my breakfast.  What a girl!.

Blueberries are a bit hit and miss for us.  We’ve grown them for a few years now - in containers as we are on alkaline soil - and some years we get hardly any, other years we get lots.  This year looks like a bumper harvest.
