Closure

I found an ambulance lost in the lanes with the driver and assistant looking bewildered at where their gps has led them. I assumed they were probably looking for the Coast Guard and Gardai I had spotted earlier.

I got them to follow me through the lanes and onto the beach carpark where the body lay, covered and waiting.

I put my camera away in the boot of my car. I wanted no part in a photograph of someone's loved one, lifeless, being carried to a waiting ambulance to be escorted to the morgue. I hope it brings closure to some distraught family. Just saying
