Baby Wrens

I was watching the baby Roe Deer this morning. They had a wander and then slept hidden in the grass for quite a while before waking up , having a munch at the grass and then they must have spotted something as they ran and hid in the Burn. It had rained for most of the early morning but brightened up in the afternoon and I sat outside in the arbour. I could hear some high pitched cries and could nt work out who would make such a noise , I thought it was the dunnocks but then two or three baby wrens appeared. Very cute but difficult to capture as they were so quick.
Apparently this could be the wettest July on record and I would think one of the coldest too.
