Bedtime stories

While we were upstairs getting jamas on Matthew requested his Peppa book from the library for his bedtime story. I asked what it was about and with some prompting he told me 'at Zoe's house' 'wake daddy zebra up' 'floorboard creak' 'monster go rarrr noisy elephant trumpet sound' - very impressed at his summary of the book!

Not pictured clearly: somewhat bloody nose from a bump at lunchtime. He had a lolly from the deli and went in the house with it while daddy was locking up the bike and had some sort of accident. He mentioned the sofa when telling me about it this evening but Mike isn't sure exactly what he did. Not broken but bled a lot poor pet. He was happily poking it for snot when he went up to bed so I surmise it's not too painful.
