Melt up

Was making a bangle today for Jo, who works for us a couple of days a week. I was making it from some old gold. This was when I was melting bits and pieces together in the crucible, to then pour it out as a little ingot and then start the laborious process of milling the ingot out as square wire and then eventually drawing it down, by hand, to 1.3mm round wire. A very delicate, pretty gold bangle is now soaking in sulphuric acid in the workshop tonight and I'll finish it in the morning :)
