Up early this morning to find the terrace was covered in ash.There was a major fire in the mountains just behind Oliva.We watched the helicopters dropping water from the sea onto the fire. It took all day to get it under control.
Every were, the cars, the streets were all covered in ash.I dont know when we had rain last but we still dont have a hosepipe ban.
The temperature was still in the 30s so it was best to get on the beach have a beer listen to my music and have a dip in the sea.
