Mono Monday Icelandic Spring

Summer in Iceland definitely feels like colder European spring. Today we went by a ferry from Dalvik to the island Grímsey. The northernmost piece of Iceland and the closest to the Arctic Circle. We walked the island, saw and took pictures of thousands of puffins, met some sheep and horses and got skua-ed by Arctic Skuas. I used this opportunity to take some picture of the before flying down to 'threaten' me. I know now where Hitchcock got his inspiration for The Birds.
