Palais

Big breakfast at the hotel and then caught a local bus up through the Latin Quarter and St Germain to the Louvre. Didn't subject our children to the mammoth queues but instead walked up through the Tuilleries, took in a ride at the funfair that gave us some great views of Paris before visiting the lovely Le Petit Palais and then heading back on the Batobus for a bit more sight-seeing en route back to the hotel for a refreshing Kronenbourg or two and a bit of Wimbledon on the telly.

Finished off the day eating out at a pavement-table at a friendly local Italian place and posing the girls in front of a floodlit Eiffel-Tower-In-The-Distance for some less-than-optimum-quality photo opportunities. They loved it.
