Yellowhammer

Who thought British birds were, well, all a bit brown and not very colourful? What a glorious sighting, high up on the top of a high hedge a bright yellow bird singing his heart out & the sun was sort of making an appearance. This Yellowhammer was on my list of 'must see' British birds and now I've only got about ten others to go, these include; Green Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Longtailed Tit & Goldcrest to name just a few. An owl and a raptor would be the icing on the cake. I'm thoroughly enjoying my British bird quest and thank you for all the lovely stars and comments, I shall keep looking for more lovely examples.
