The Islands Beckon

More in hope than expectation we are off today en route to Orkney with the bikes. We are also taking warm clothing suitable for warding off the cold of forecasted winds from the polar regions, and the rain which seems to have found its niche in Scotland this summer.
We have decided not to include sun protection lotion or sunglasses.

The overnight stop today is Helmsdale and then onwards and upwards to Hoy tomorrow. I may see you at either place depending on the vagaries of the Internet.
