Iris

These are Mr A's favourite flower; he planted these earlier this year.

I like the shape of the petals and the colour too....good choice Mr A!

As you can tell, it's been raining (a lot) as the centre of the flower has made a lovely little reservoir, which the hover fly seemed to appreciate when it stopped for a drink :-)
