Lost View

Once again, a shot from the roof of the house we were hoping to move into this week. Now it looks like it might not happen at all, and we'll be out of pocket for the work we've already had done.

It appears that the landlords actually want to sell the house, but after the earthquake the government put a ban on all house sales, so they looked to rent. If (when) in the future the government lift this ban they'll be looking to sell again. That's not fair on us having spent so much (we were about to get the carpets installed but have put a hold on that), and we're trying to get a 2 year guarantee in the agreement.

Life would be so much easier if we could just build our own. Sigh.
