Day 2

After us all being soaked yesterday and heavy rain overnight rain we were surprised to find the families all packed up and ready to move campsites by 9 a.m. when we picked up the lads for Day 2 of their walk. All in good spirits. We left the walkers at Enerdale Bridge and took the car to the opposite side of the lake. We watched them scramble over the rocks and scree and walked along side them on the opposite side of the lake to the end where we left them fir their more arduous climb. We're moving out of the Lake District tomorrow and will catch up with them later on their walk. R's chest infection is showing signs of improving. The weather forecast is slightly better too!
