Silver Birch

The rain stopped early afternoon so I hung some washing on the line and went on a blip walk to Rydal.  I’ve had many attempts at camera movement shots, most of them unsuccessful. I’m happier with this photo, though it’s purely good luck rather than technical skill. It looks better in gallery view on the black background. 

On my drive home from the gym this morning I spotted a photographer by the roadside with camera and tripod. There must have been a good view of the Langdale Pikes but I couldn’t turn my head far enough to see. I didn’t have a camera so there was no point in me stopping.
