Does symmetry really exist?
This weeks theme for the Blip Challenge group I run is Symmetry and I spent the day trying to find a symmetrical pattern. It shouldn't be hard in a Georgian city where the architects used greek principles to produce visually pleasing buildings, yet the closer you look the more you see nuances that take away from the exact symmetry.
I'll ask therefore that you ignore the people who simply refused to have a double of them on the other side of the hall and the exhibits in the museum that don't have an exact replica facing them and instead concentrate on the bigger picture of the beautiful hall in the National Museum of Scotland.
