It wasn't the paper boy's stupid haircut or his aptitude for wearing a beanie hat in all weathers, or even his inability to wear his jeans properly without his pants showing or being unable to walk without looking at his phone that annoyed Murphy. It was the indolence of youth that rendered the boy completely incapable of shutting the gate after himself that irked.
