Backlit bloom

Orchid watering day today. They are gathered together (all eight of them) onto the kitchen draining board and the leaves and roots are sprayed with an orchid fertiliser The cache pots are then filled to the brim with rainwater for half an hour or so. This treatment seems to suit them as they are almost all in flower.
I've spent time today putting my photos from yesterday's garden visit onto the WI website. A bit of an ego trip, but the members do like to see them.
