Lavender - we've still got it
I took Ziggy for a walk this evening, as I had hardly moved from my office chair all day. We had a lovely walk all around the village. I got shots of a dead mouse, and an abandoned car. I settled on a blip from our front garden.
I don't know if anyone remembers me saying last year that we would be digging up our lavender bushes and planting new ones? Well we never did get round to it, mainly because C dislocated his shoulder and was out of action for a while.
It's infinitely prettier than a dead mouse - or an abandoned car. It smells better too.
P.S. I must add that our village is not an area of devastation. The abandoned car was highly unusual which is why I photographed it. The mouse had a peaceful (I think) demise at the side of the oil seed rape crop.
